Iam a washboard player tooo, tradional style like you. Very goood playing with the harp, I wish i could do two things in tune so well. I play blues with my dad now about 15 years of and on he's got a short silly clip under James Springfield. The next video he does I'll make sure to be in there playing too. Washboard players are far and few between and I will due us justice when i finally debeut

Blacks were more than likly the first to play the washboard. Great little rhythm makers. They are more popular than you may think...with string bands, folk groups, southern church bands, and of course canjun musicians...
Try a search on the net "washboard musicians" or "washboard bands"...
